Academics

Course Registration

Course registration via UNR faculty systems after admission. Each faculty has its own registration process. Confirm with UNR Internacionales which faculty portal to use.

Credit System

Argentina uses materias (subjects) rather than ECTS. UNR provides ECTS equivalences for European students. One materia typically = 6–8 ECTS.

Grading System

Argentine 1–10 scale: 4 = pass. 7 = good, 9–10 = outstanding. Grade conversion provided for international transcripts.

Exam Culture

Oral exams (examen oral) are common, especially in law, medicine, and social sciences. Written parciales (midterms) plus final exams. Exam periods can be intense — plan accordingly.
