    Grants worth stacking before you go

    • Erasmus+ — the base grant depends on your destination's country group; it rarely covers everything, so budget the gap.
    • National & regional top-ups — most countries add their own layer on top of Erasmus+; check your ministry and region before assuming the base amount is all you get.
    • Your university — international offices often have small funds nobody applies to. Ask.
